CAREN OBER - CPA

Caren is a CPA with over 30 years of assisting her clients with their financial needs. As a native of California she grew up in the San Fernando Valley, where she opened her accounting practice after receiving her CPA certificate in 1979. She has been active in the CPA community, serving at the statewide level of Society of California Accountants.

• Bachelor of Science, Major Accounting Major, Cal State University Northridge.

• Accounting Instructor: Santa Ana & Santiago Junior College

• California Society of Accountants – State director

• Rotary International – Paul Harris Fellow

• Passions includes cruising, wine and dancing.

• Married to Robert for 42 years before he passed in September 2020.

ED OBER - EA

Ed joined Ober Financial in 2006. Also a native of California, he grew up in Orange County. He graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelors degree in International Relations. His international interests were developed while studying in Perth, Australia and Copenhagen, Denmark.

• Ed started Balancing Life Financial Planning to help others strike a balance in their lives.

• Eagle Scout whose interests include running, beer, camping and family.

• Met his wife, Pearl, while working at Disneyland

• They have 2 beautiful daughters - Holly & Juliet

ANGELIQUE VASQUEZ – Director of Client Services

Angelique joined our team in 2010. After a short period elsewhere she is back as a valued member of the team. Angelique has worked in client relations for over 35 years.  She’s a local having been born and raised in Orange. She has four wonderful kids and is the proud grandmother of three boys!   Like the rest of the team, Angelique is family oriented, spending most of her spare time with her grandsons – Jayson, Anthony, and Adrian.
